He wasn’t missing, he was where he last was.
And if dog bites man stories are world news these days, are fender benders also newsworthy?

This is one of those “six of one, half a dozen of another” situations. I can’t decide if it would have been better to be found alive.

From the article “found dead”. What? They were surprised he was dead?

I can't tell if the snake swallowed him feet first or head first. I would think it would be easier for the snake to take him feet first. Then he wouldn't have to deal with the shoulders.

I’m not particularly partial to mashed potatoes. I’m more for oven-roasted wedges.

The snake swallowed him feet first, fitting both feet at the same time into it's mouth? I'm having trouble believing this.
But if it's true, then Floridian who tries to import a Burmese python here should be fed to one feet first.

I wish several in congress would disappear in this fashion. There’s certainly enough snakes.

I remember seeing somewhere that after the prey is dead the snake will flex its body around the creature to disarticulate the joints, so it loses its shape - making whatever it is easier to swallow.

I read a story about a woman who owned a python. It stopped eating the rabbits she fed it, so she took it to the vet. She mentioned that it usually coiled at her feet at night when she slept. But lately it would stretch the length of the bed next to her. The vet informed her that it was tired of eating the same thing and was sizing her up. She decided to have it euthanized.

Great analogy for any nation that imports muslims.

There’s snakes that swallow antelope, horns and all...which looks impossible. You’d think the horns would puncture the snake.

Reportedly
this 20-footer died from internal injuries sustained after swallowing an antelope. If the prey in question was a blackbuck, the males can be well over 100 lbs in weight, but not usually higher than 125.
