A mother who asked TSA agents at DFW International Airport for alternative screening for her son with special needs said they were "treated like dogs" and forced to miss a flight during an extensive security check, according to her Facebook post that has since gone viral.
But the Transportation Security Administration said in a prepared statement that it followed approved procedures to "resolve an alarm of the passenger's laptop."
Jennifer Williamson wrote Sunday morning that her son has a sensory processing disorder and that she asked agents to "screen him in other ways per TSA rules."

If I owned a plane and sold plane rides, I would check every single thing going on MY plane before I took off - and I would check certain military aged males of a certain religion twice.

I watched the video, expecting to be horrified. It annoyed me, but it certainly didn’t horrify me. Obviously, this child wasn’t concealing weapons, and I don’t know how many times his arm pits needed to be massaged, but beyond all that, it seems to be a waste of two minutes. My biggest beef is that TSA would NEVER be allowed to subject a moose-lum to this sort of physical examination. Can you imagine some burka-clad witch allowing TSA to feel her up? CAIR would have a lawsuit filed before the pat-down was over. We’ve already seen what the flying imams did, and TSA doesn’t mess with them now. The last group of people who don’t have grievance lawyers on retainer are normal, heterosexual, white people.

I guess I’ve been lucky. I always fly out of DFW and have never been inconvenienced in any way.
You can get solid “kegs” of roofing tar. But when molten, it’d kill. If that’s a deal breaker, then plain old black jack would work.
i do not fly either but it has to do with the other people on the plane with their “emotional support”animals as it does with TSA. i have never been groped as a passenger, but my daughter gets wanded every single time.
I used to fly quite a bit, and they once made me take the bobby pins out of my hair (I had it all fixed and pulled up in the back). Luckily it was hairsprayed well and didn’t move...even after I took the bobby-pins out. lol I’ve been put through the machine that blows everything, etc. It never really bothered me. The last few times I’ve flown, I was directed through the express line. Must be because I’m getting old and slow.
This is typical bitchy mother BS. My son is so “special” that when he sets off the alarm, you shouldn’t check him. The cops were there because mother made such a scene.
Do I like the TSA checks, no. I love them because I got TSA pre check and I sail through every time, while everyone else waits, and although far from perfect, when was the last time an A/C was hijacked in America?
Anyone who spends time bitching about TSA should get a real life, especially the woman from a few weeks ago who was sooooo offended.

Some don’t even need a badge. Put them on a homeowners board. Dealing with one fascist now telling me he is concerned my planned pavers project could affect property values. Actually, it sounds like the laptop triggered the bomb sniffing machine. I had a colleague get 'the treatment' after he triggered the machine one trip. I always worry when I get the hand swabs - lots of things will give a false positive, and the experience won't be pleasant. I came really close to getting 'the treatment' in Germany one time.
I watched the video. The “agent” should be arrested. He was getting his jollies feeling up a little boy. He should be whipped then arrested. Or vice versa.
