Nearly everyone I know wears laced shoes to work and laced sneakers to play. the only exceptions are some velcro stuff for the kids and ladies buckled shoes
and the other side tries to make you feel low or wrong if you are putting tie shoes and taking longer than they take to slip into “” their shoes.
