It was a prop plane. You can clearly see the prop hub on the street in the pics. Looks like it was carrying a cargo of paperwork. Perhaps bank checks? From the shape of the cowling on the street I’d guess it was a Piper Aztec.
One news report says it was a Cessna Citation 500 bizjet. Could be?
Whatever it was it looks like it missed the house to me.

Not a prop plane as you surmised.....My daughter’s first hand account was accurate..
They quit flying bank checks around the country after 9/11. The Check 21 Act converted almost all check transactions to electronic after the paper hits the first bank. There are a few banks that aren't on board yet, but most checks are handled this way now.
