A lot might change for the tech industry in the near future. Donald Trumps election as U.S. president has left a lot of companies double minded. At one end, theyre pressured to move manufacturing facilities to the United States at the other, the decision is simply economically unfeasible. Out of all the companies, its Apple which has faced the most pressure to move iPhone production back to the States. Today, weve got more details on the matter.
Apple and TSMC have had a strong relationship. The Taiwanese fab is a long time supplier for the companys mobile chips. Cupertinos also upped its hardware game significantly, with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The pair feature Apples A10 Fusion processor, a first of its kind with four processing cores. Before the A10, the max Apple went for was three cores, with the A8X for the iPad Air 2. This year, mobile hardware will come into the limelight. Its the year for 10nm processors, as manufacturers all around are succesful in achieving satisfactory yields for the process.

They can keep Apple phones, to limited is storage, my Samsung Note 3 has a micro memory card as big as I want it, besides the phone’s memory. So I can hold all the photos I want in albums.
They also manufacture for Altera, now an Intel subsidiary.

With 10nm processes established and 7nm in work...it’s the future. But TSMC will not see the 7nm technology.
Photo space isn’t a problem on my iPhone.
All photos & videos are uploaded to Apple’s cloud service, acting as backup and making them available to all my devices (second full backup on my Mac).
As photos are unused, they’re removed from the phone, thumbnail kept, and re-downloaded as needed.
No memory card required.
