Jamie Gorelick’s wall
washington times ^ | 4/15/20014 | washington times

The disclosure that Jamie Gorelick, a member of the September 11 commission, was personally responsible for instituting a key obstacle to cooperation between law enforcement and intelligence operations before the terrorist attacks raises disturbing questions about the integrity of the commission itself. Ms. Gorelick should not be cross-examining witnesses; instead, she should be required to testify about her own behavior under oath. Specifically, commission members need to ask her about a 1995 directive she wrote that made it more difficult for the FBI to locate two of the September 11 hijackers who had already entered the country by the summer of 2001.

On Tuesday, Attorney General John Ashcroft declassified a four-page directive sent by Ms. Gorelick (the No. 2 official in the Clinton Justice Department) on March 4, 1995, to FBI Director Louis Freeh and Mary Jo White, the New York-based U.S. attorney investigating the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. In the memo, Ms. Gorelick ordered Mr. Freeh and Ms. White to follow information-sharing procedures that “go beyond what is legally required,” in order to avoid “any risk of creating an unwarranted appearance” that the Justice Department was using Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants, instead of ordinary criminal investigative procedures, in an effort to undermine the civil liberties of terrorism suspects.

I get that. Rummy Chick doesn’t need me to defend her, but I’ll say I’ve read plenty of postives posts she’s written about Trump.

These aren’t negative in the sense of Russians,Taxes etc. This is more in the way of an alarming headscratcher. I’m hoping he is unaware of Gorelick’s history. It would be much more disturbing if he knows it.

It was a polite and sincere request. If you have no recent pro Trump articles to cite, I understand.

‘I’m hoping he is unaware of Gorelick’s history. It would be much more disturbing if he knows it.’

If Trump had hired Gorelick, that would be cause for alarm. Whereas this is Ivanka’s personal matter, it seems less critucal.

When it first came out with Jared in January...American Thinker did a piece warning about Gorelick.

By now they know.

And here is the flip side of that..if they don’t know..then that, in and of itself, is a huge negative. A 5 minute internet search brings up the red flag. Why would they not do a 5 minute search of a Dem they are going to hire? Of course they would do a search.

Ruthless Bannon knows. Breitbart has articles.

This is a case where Kushners overrode Bannon..unless Bannon thinks it is okay, too. That would be hard to believe.

Yeah, you’re right.

Bannon knows better. I mean Jamie Gorelick, for Pete’s sake.

Gorelick is quoted today as saying that Ivanka is there to be her father’s ears and eyes.

So this isn’t just day care and global warming. She sat next to Merkel the other day. This is a big role.

Don’t forget the Soros invested money with Josh Kushner. Josh’s Billion dollar company depended on Obamacare.
Gorelick worked for Soros.

Josh is now Trustee of Ivanka’s Trust.

That’s Kevin Bacon 6 degrees of separation talk.

Read about Jamie Gorlick’s wall, - and yellow cake.

She suppressed information that could have prevented 911.

You can’t cite any “attack” posts because I haven’t made any.

Every post you have made on this thread has attacked RC for not posting to your liking.

Dispute it if the FACTS in the article are not correct. Stop attacking the messenger who posted an article.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but most of the truth about 9-11 is still being covered up. Gorlick being on the 9-11 Commission was so blatantly obvious a part of the cover up. The fix was in. Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein, who stopped all civil litigation from moving forward was another key player.

For those who may disagree - a year ago many would have been derided as conspiracy theorists for saying a “deep state” would actively work to subvert a U.S. President.....

Most accept it now as being self evident.

Someone made a cryptic post about her husband yesterday.

Do you know anything about him.

I’m still waiting for you to quote me directly. If you can take time out from making your overly broad generalizations, a specific would be apropos.

I really don’t know much about the 9/11 Commission.

Is it on the level of coverup of the Warren Commission? Because that one didn’t make sense!

I don’t trust Jared Kushner one bit. If he remains as a “trusted advisor”, then rest assured the Trump White House will transition to “business as usual”.

Far worse. 9-11 not only resulted in 3000 innocent deaths, it also ushered in the “surveillance state” (the horribly misnamed Patriot Act) and unending Middle East nation building stupidity as U.S. foreign policy. Not to mention the incredible national deficit resulting from such policies. The Commission completely whitewashed the event. No one in Washington was held accountable. In point of fact, those tasked with defending our nation and failing miserably were, in many cases, promoted.
