Have you ever noticed that all Chinese menus are remarkably the same? Moo shu pork. General Tso's Chicken. Beef with broccoli. Sweet and sour pork. In New York, everybody knows that it's because all the Chinese food is prepared in one massive central kitchen located beneath Times Square. Of course it's all the same!
What hasn't been as widely recognized is that there is also one massive central newsroom, equally located just beneath Time Square (right next to the central Chinese kitchen), that prepares the progressive news talking points ...........
And thus, with the unveiling last week of the first proposal from the Republican Congress to start undoing Obamacare, we find the immediate emergence of the official progressive talking point clearly emanating from the central newsroom: This is "cruel." The CBO has estimated a likely increase in the number of people without healthcare "coverage." Go literally anywhere, and you find this circumstance described with the same word -- "cruel" -- repeated, over and over. At the New Republic on March 14 it's "The Incredible Cruelty of Trumpcare" (subtitle "Republicans are willing to cause a humanitarian crisis just to give permanent tax cuts to millionaires"). At New York Magazine, it's "Trumpcare Is The Culmination of All the GOP's Healthcare Lies" ("they instead rushed out a plan that is shambolic and cruel"). At the Washington Post on March 8, it's "the ultra-conservative Freedom Caucus . . . is terribly distressed by the fact that the Ryan bill is insufficiently cruel to poor people." Paul Krugman of the New York Times put it in a tweet on March 14: "The first and most important legislative initiative [of the new Congress] is stupid as well as cruel . . . ."

The old party of slavery is now the party of slavery to the state.
“I Need A Dollar”
“A dollar is what I need”
“And if I share with you my story, will you share your Dollar with me?”

Here’s What’s “Cruel”: having so many unemployed who are living their lives isolated from society and oblivious of what the future will bring.
Still waiting for jobs, jobs, jobs, nationwide and not only in isolated pockets in the country.
Lifetime? Hell, generations!!!
Never say just “elitists.” Instead be accurate. Say “violent elitists.”
When elitists use or advocate for the use of the FORCE of government, illegally of course, but hidden, via their long campaign to anesthetize the people to that illegality, that makes them VIOLENT because no effective refusal is ultimately permitted.
Elitists cause wars because they demand just what they want even if it is wrong.
Elitists who take action through government are by definition violent.
That also makes them damn disgusting lying stealing criminal elitists, but that’s a little long for most labels even though it is absolutely true.
So we should just label them “violent elitists” with those two words glued together.
If they tell you they are not violent tell them right back that they ARE INDEED VIOLENT, and MEAN it.
Cruel is taking money from those willing to work and giving to those who CAN work and refuse to work. Shut it down.
The words cruel, extreme and dangerous have lost there meanings due to overuse and abuse by the media
CRAP. I think you’re right. Very.
The old party and new party are one and the same.
The old party used government to enforce slavery. Suppose the government took the position that a slave owner could have slaves. But that if his slaves left his plantation, those slaves had all the rights of non-slaves. In other words, a reveral of famous court decisions.
Slavery (on a big scale) only works if it is government that enforces slavery.
Slavery exists because some people think they are smarter and better than other people and therefore are best qualified to make decisions for other people.
The old party and new party are the same.
You are so right. The anti-ACA voices should emphasize that factory jobs, IT jobs, good jobs are the solution to healthcare payment.
