Funny thing, the men’s bible study (and these are real red neck men) at my church is now about 1st and 2nd Corinthians.
Corinth was Debauch City even by Roman standards.
And somehow Paul managed to coach a church there. Which was, of course, before people went to church because it was popular.
Jesus is awfully patient. God ought to have fled America long ago based on mere deserving, but instead He is wooing it big time once more.
I think if we let this chance go we pushed it too far.
