Had it not been for a scheduling conflict for her normal baby sitter, 2-year-old Aaliyah Lewis might have spent the day with her grandfather. Had she not been potty-trained with repeated lashings from a belt and hanger, the toddler might not have required a trip to the hospital. And had her mother sought help right away when she saw her daughter’s injuries, the young girl might have survived.
Instead, Aaliyah was baby-sat April 21, 2016, by her mother’s boyfriend, Jamarius Devonti Graham. Graham acknowledged physically punishing the toddler — spanking her 20 times with a belt and striking her with a plastic hanger until it broke — after she had an accident on his bed, according to state investigators. He and the child’s mother waited nearly 90 minutes after Aaliyah started having breathing problems before seeking help.

I’ve noticed over the decades, that when a man molests, kills, or beats their “child/daughter/son”, it almost always inevitably turns out to be a stepfather or non-biological father.
It is rarely the biological father.
“Mommies” keep making poor choices for “boyfriends”. They are looking for “love” in all the wrong places.
The most dangerous thing to a single mother’s children is her boyfriend.

In the autopsy it could not be determined how the child died. So he pleaded guilty to “child abuse” and avoided a trial.

The mother should also be charged with neglect, and with lying to an officer. She didn’t love her child enough to risk sending her bed-mate to prison.

Stupid girls open their legs for random men, and then society gives her the modern choices of abortion and/or watching the biological father skate away. Meanwhile, the kids are the ones who suffer most.

I appreciate that the defendant “manned up” and admitted he did it. Even though it was too late to “man up,” I am willing to give him some credit for admitting his sin, albeit tardily. Thus, I would let him choose his personal favorite method of execution, to be performed next week.
I can’t imagine how that poor baby must have suffered before she died.
An eye for an eye is about right for crimes like this.

Not just that, but why a woman would do nothing while
children go through ordeals like this. OK, he is an a$$ hole, so why is she staying there to maintain his a$$holing? This is clearly an enabling behavior.
This pathetic male wannabe should be beaten to death in the exact same manner as he killed an innocent helpless child. Can you imagine her pain and terror as she was beaten and punched? And the mother should be spayed.

This is why marriage between a man and a woman is so important to civilized society. It helps ensure that the children are raised by a mother and a father who truly care.
