That is true. I live just a few miles from Bridgeport and it’s amazing how the landscape suddenly changes from million dollar homes on multi-acre estates to literally a third world country. In general, I stay away from the entire I-95 corridor.
Greenwich and Darien are to the west. To the east, Bridgeport is also less than 15 miles from prestigious Yale University.

Yet most, if not all, of those communities, rich or poor, voted for the Crook in the November election. Look it up.
I’d feel very ill at ease being a visibly well-off individual residing within miles or even blocks of such overt poverty, ignorance and dysfunction, myself.
