Why Was Steve Bannon's Hot Tub Filled with Acid? (future Woodward and Bernsteins on the case...)
Esquire Magazine ^ | 1 hour ago | Peter Wade

The Washington Post reported a story on Saturday investigating counselor to the president Steve Bannon's legal residence, since no one really knows where he lives. But in the course of that investigation, they uncovered something that is even more disturbing: a hot tub at a house where Bannon claimed to live looked like it was filled with acid.

The Post started looking into Bannon because while he claimed residency in Florida, he was spending most of his time in Washington, D.C., but his address was listed as his business manager's office in California.

In fact, prosecutors in Miami have opened an investigation into Bannon's claims to be a Florida resident from 2014-2016. Because although Bannon signed a lease on a Florida home for that period of time, Bannon's ex-wife, Diane, was the one residing there and neighbors told the Post they have never seen Bannon near the house.

The theory is that Bannon claimed to live in Florida because the state does not have an income tax, therefore allowing him to avoid paying taxes on his earnings by claiming to reside there.

And then shit gets weird. The Post obtained a February 2015 email from Bannon's former landlord that read: "[E]ntire Jacuzzi bathtub seems to have been covered in acid."

WHAT?!

The landlord also noticed that padlocks had been installed on interior doors (creepy), while other doors were totally removed (also creepy).

"I'm out of town," Bannon responded (a likely story). "is there any way u can talk with Diane and sort things out ???"

It leads to a disturbing question I never thought I'd ask: What happened in Steve Bannon's hot tub.

Was it a hot tub party gone awry? Did someone put too much chlorine in the water? The people deserve to know.

ACID??? ACID???

I heard it was speed.

I am glad to see how diligent the compost is when it comes to digging up dirt on (at the time) private citizens while nary a word is reported on all the CAREER POLS who only ‘visit’ their home state at election time.

Granted one must blame the people who vote for these carpetbaggers, on the other hand, the local citizens probably better off with their ‘representatives’ not being in daily contact.

This is the kind of writing Esquire now publishes? I must admit I haven’t looked at it since cigarettes went out of fashion but this is badly-written gossip and innuendo.

It “looked” like it was filled with acid?

Boy, that’s really convincing stuff!

Exactly, was it covered in acid or not? And acids coem in many different forms- soem are used for cleaning and sterilizing

The left are going mental- if they are creating a ‘crisis out of a hot-tube’ having acid on it IF it was even acid- the article doesn’t even declare that it was acid

Acid acid, or Lysergic acid diethylamide?

How about muriatic acid for cleaning up tile and grout... sheesh. I guess the press only use fiberglass tubs and spa’s.

People.. the water in pools and hot tubs have to have the ph balance maintained. So you add chemicals ...alkalis and acids.

I’ve had pools off and on over the years and I got pool chemicals acids and alkalis that I add all the time into my pool so I pour acid into my own pool all the time

So just when you hear “acid” was added to a pool or hot tub it not was you think..

I slamed Glen Beck years back for dredging up a 60s charge of an “acid attack” on some black kids that were swimming in a hotel pool .. when it was just look to been the Hotel manager doing pool maintenance adding pool acid

think about it.. how deluded would any acid be being poured into a pool or hottup full of water?... you have to add a drum of it to even make a dent...

In other news, Bannon’s toilet was found to contain toilet cleaner, thus proving that Bannon is a dangerous arch conservative intent on killing off oppressed staph bacteria. /mega s

former landlord that read: "[E]ntire Jacuzzi bathtub seems to have been covered in acid."

SAFETY DATA SHEET

"Aqueous Acidic Cleaner for Removal of Calcium, Lime, and Rust from Hard Surface"

Anyone who has lived in or visited Florida knows that rust and calcium scale are a big problem on plumbing fixtures. C-L-R is the standard solution.

Wow, this is the dumbest thing I’ve read in a while.

1. Where Bannon claimed he lived. When did he claim this and how long ago did he live there if at all?

2. “Looked like” WTF Either it is filled with acid, which makes no sense at all, or it isn’t. There is no in between. Maybe it was dirty?
