Those were the Glory Days Jim could raise his quarterly goal in a week now a days I watch it take three months sometimes so let's brainstorm how to make this site better

In all my years on FR, I've only seen once where some friendly comments were aimed at the OPUSer. And that was a long time Freeper who had built up a lot of goodwill and had taken the time to type up a reasonable opus.

Even then most of the responses were snarks.

I hope you weren't expecting much more than every possible variation of the phrase "Good riddance".

I know a way to solve your problem.

If using an iPhone, you just say, “period” and Siri puts one in to the text she's converting.

However, I do understand the need to use voice under difficult circumstances.
