Cetera was singularly responsible for taking CHICAGO from a raucous rock band (I have the live tour album vacuum sealed, BTW) to a sappy-ballad band.
Tight horns and excellent guitar riffs went to wimpy piano chords and whiny singing. Just like Don Henley, Peter Cetera is DEAD to me!
I lost interest in them when Terry Kath passed away, that was the real Chicago that I loved, although a friend of mine see’s them live now and say’s they are great.....
Is that the big (7 disk?) white album from way back? I have that one too. Great stuff. It's been digitized and sealed away.
