You can’t be transgender any more than you can be a unicorn or a sorcerer. You are born male or female. Period.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Education Secretary Betsy DeVos watched a transspecies puppy eat Purina dog chow and chase sticks and listened to another transspecies student’s emotional story of feeling marginalized at school, as activists pressed DeVos to make good on her promise to protect all students.
Parents and activists who met with DeVos on Wednesday said they thought she was moved by their stories, but they still left with little hope that she would be a strong advocate for transspecies children.
The meeting at the Education Department came two weeks after the Trump administration rescinded Obama-era guidance that instructed schools to let students use trees, litter boxes, birdcages, and other facilities in line with their stated species identity, not just restrooms that match their assigned species at birth. The decision was strongly condemned by civil rights groups, who said that it would harm already highly vulnerable students, but it was applauded by conservatives, who said the guidelines violated the safety and privacy of all other students.
“Cruel and harmful! Students who identify as pigeons should be allowed to perch on a statue to do their business,” said Captain Flint, a well-known trans-parrot advocate.
Attending the meeting were Lassie Ford, a 5-year-old transspecies puppy, and high school student Princess Dolan-Sandrino, who told DeVos the middle school she attended did not let her lift her leg at trees or even fire hydrants — as the Obama guidance was not in place then.

Why are we not celebrating mental illness and reinforcing the delusions of these sick children? It is cruel to make weak people face reality [Which is also why we coddle liberals who are not yet ready to hear who won the 2016 presidential election.]

Out of sympathy and compassion to “transgender” students, schools SHOULD make some accommodations, which should be single-person restroom and locker room facilities for the “transgender” student, for the moments they need them.
There, problem solved, with compassion and empathy for ALL the students.
Yeah, I felt marginalized at my school, on occasion. So did the other hundred-odd kids in my class.

It's called "Life". Normal people, or 99% of the population, deals with it just fine, without requiring treatment as a special snowflake.

I feel that most of the people who claim it do it only to throw a wrench in the works of traditional society.
The sickos who claim it need to have some skin in the game, no pun intended. I don’t know how it can happen, but if someone is going to claim to be “trans”, then they need to have more proof than the fact they “identify” as another gender and have taken a few hormone shots and started wearing dresses. They should have to show proof of the full meal deal, point of no return type stuff. If you’re a man who wants to be a woman, show your commitment to the cause and have the exterior plumbing sawed off and get on with it. Otherwise, stfu.

We have to say, officially, there is no such thing as transgender anything. There never has been, and there never will be, because it is impossible.
There are mental disorders that cause people to believe they are not the gender their DNA says they are.
