Tony Romo will soon no longer be a Dallas Cowboy.
The Cowboys will release the franchise's all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns on Thursday, sources told ESPN, allowing him the chance to sign with another team if he desires while removing any doubt that they have the utmost faith in Dak Prescott.

Tony Romos is on the verge of breaking many records, most notably, the broken bone record currently held by Evel Knievel.

There’s an opening in San Francisco.
Romo may find that there aren’t going to be a lot of teams out there that will guarantee that he’ll be the starter, especially the contending teams. At the very least he’s going to have to compete for the starting job.
He may very well do like Aikman, and decide it’s not worth it, and retire.
My question for the Cowboys fans. Will Romo eventually be in the “Ring of Honor”?
Fearless prediction: the Bucs backup QB Glennon will get a free agent contract before Romo.
I just hope the Cowboys can find a better backup than “Dirty” Sanchez.
Yeah he will be, Jerry loves the guy, but the Guy who should be in it, Jimmy, will NEVER be in the ROH, and that is a load of B.S.
I think he should, and go into broadcasting or coaching.
Ultimately his wife may wind up making that decision for him.
And thus my prediction, made in 2008, that the Cowboys would never win a Superbowl with Romo as their QB, becomes reality.

I thought he would lead us to the promised land, that was long long ago. Thank you Tony, you were entertaining.
I love Romo, one of the most talented QBs to never see a Super Bowl. But for the sake of his health he should retire.
