Look at any college campus. women have made themselves so toxic that men advise to only date girls off campus-not at the university. false rape claims are legion.

girls today value themselves far higher than they are truly worth. ant affection must be earned/paid for in advance.

if i were a young man i would invest in robotics. women are too risky to take the chance.

i know there are quality girls out there, but i am not psychic-i cannot discern the good from the bad. in a case like that, better to keep your money and stay away from the casino

Amen! A marriage made with God as the cement has helped keep me & the Mrs. together for going on 39 years. Without Him in the mix, it might be a different story as then there is no true accountibility...

Me too.

I’m really scared about this.

I love humping.

>It’s important that the guys are chaste as well.

Not nearly as important as women. Modern Christianity tends to endlessly try to force sons to be “pure” while ignoring or only mildly disapproving of their daughters slutting it up. That the opposite how things should be done.

Neither sex is fit for marriage after a few indescretions. You may be right about tolerance in many churches but the churches I associate with excommunicates for fornication. While it’s possible to be readmitted, your ability to find a spouse is greatly reduced.

Look at it this way: it might clear away some of the competition for women, if lots of guys are happy with machines only.

Speaking as a woman I can say I don’t blame them one bit. Feminists and their kook supporters have distorted true marriage in society.

As a famous lawyer said when they brought in ‘no fault divorce’ they didn’t remove the penalties, which punished men, from the old divorce laws....creating double jeopardy.....

Yup - “settled science”.

Why get married when you are living with mom and she cooks and cleans for you?

Michelle Goldberg in The Nation:

1. This study also finds that religiously unaffiliated Americans, and counties with higher shares of unaffiliated Americans, are the most likely to divorce. So, religion per se is not the problem and, indeed, secularism seems to be more conducive towards divorce than conservative Protestantism.

2. A new article by sociologist Charles Stokes in www.family-studies.org suggests that the problem here is mainly with nominal conservative Protestants—those who attend rarely or never. It’s these nominal conservative Protestants—e.g., the Southern Baptist couple in Texas who rarely darken the door of a church—who are much more likely to divorce.

Feminism and the one-sided court system have drastically changed the marriage equation decidedly against men. This claim of equality between the sexes, is pure BS when it comes to the law. Knowing what I know now, and going through what I’ve been through in divorce recently, I would not recommend that any man get married unless there’s a solid, fair pre-nup in place. You WILL get screwed big-time if the marriage falls apart.

NO. I'm 49 and I'm having issues myself that are/were similar to hers. I'm scared that I let these issues go too long. I'm seeing my family doctor Friday and going to jawbone him into setting me up for a colonoscopy.

My wife had some warning signs nearly a year ago, and we did nothing. To make a long story short, all hell broke lose when she started getting bleeding bowels. Please don't wait for symptoms, her oncologist said that colon cancer is the sneakiest form, and can hit you with little warning. There's more cases popping up of younger people getting it.

Don't wait. Don't let good overall good health fool you. Everybody feels pretty good at Stage 1 cancer...

“Contrary to the notion that marriage is detrimental to men, it turns out that the benefits are substantial by every conceivable measure, including greater financial well-being, higher quality of sexual life, and significantly better physical and mental health outcomes,” wrote Wilcox and Wolfinger in “Men & Marriage: Debunking the Ball and Chain Myth.”

They are confusing the outcomes of men who wanted to get married with what would happend if unmotivated men would get married.

There is no worse marital partner than someone who didn't want to get married or make the appropriate commitment in the first place.

They are correct that more education is needed, but God forbid that any group taking government money should do the educating. Churches and synagogues should insist on educating couples according to their denominational belief system before agreeing to marry anyone.

As for secularists who plan lavish weddings in hotels with a justice of the peace as officiant, lots of luck. You're going to need it.

Life is easier when you’re part of a team. When you’re half of a good marriage all of life’s difficulties (burying parents, getting laid, thinking you’re having a heart attack) are easier to navigate. Which isn’t saying go ahead and get married, you need to pick well, otherwise you’re signing up for extra life difficulties.

Discovery isnt just about the spouses knowing what they have. Its so the courts and lawyers know how much they have, and the judge and lawyers figure out how much they want to make off the divorcing couple.

Absolutely. It’s just a sports game to the attorneys. Sadly, some divorcing couples are too greedy, and that is what the lawyers live off of. Get over the butthurt the marriage caused, then divorce amicably and starve the attorneys. :)

The judges are in it too. They can get thousands of dollars an hour for court costs. They can also force people to sell assets to pay court costs and lawyer bills. They can force people to hire specialists to assess children, and they cant refus to pay whatever these court appointed experts bill them for. Often these experts are friends of the judge.
