Ah, now it makes sense. This particular Star Trek episode was about a person driven insane by hunger for power, but foiled of it. Remind you of anyone?

Something in the remastering maybe that puts it outside the box. I must have seen every episode of TOS at least 15 times, but that was some time ago. I would still bet credits to navy beans it’s from the original.
