>> Batman vs. Superman wasn’t a remake or a sequel <<

The full name of the category is Worst Prequel, Sequel, Remake or Rip-off

Batman vs. Superman is both a sequel to Man of Steel (2013) and a rip-off of Superman IV (1987) (same scenes, except Lex Luthor creates Doomsday instead of Nuclear Man in this one). Its predecessor, Man of Steel, was also a thinly veiled remake of Superman II (1980).

Hollywood lazily recycles the same stuff over and over and should rightfully be called out for it.

It was not a sequel to man of steel. The sequel to man of sTeel is still forcoming. It is not a rip off of superman IV, those are different super villains. Although doomsday originally wasn’t created by lex luther, that doesn’t make it either a sequel or a rip-off. The movie in queston certainly had never been done before.

To be fair all super man origin stories could be considered “rip-offs”.
