Animal control officers in Maryland tracked down and captured a loose dog many residents believed to be a wolf.
Prince George's County police shared photos which concerned several citizens due to its large size and wolf-like appearance.
Police managed to track down and capture the animal at about 10:30 a.m. on Thursday and confirmed that it was a large dog.
"It seems to be a mixed malamute/husky-type dog," Prince George's animal management Chief Rodney Taylor told WUSA. "He's definitely a dog."
The dog was found without any kind of identification such as a chip or a collar and will be held at the county animal shelter for 5-7 days to be claimed by its owners before, being placed for adoption.
He is a beautiful dog or wolf or whatever. But when I see all of that hair I am seeing vacuum cleaner out 8 times a day. I have a yellow Labrador Retriever, which is the reason I go through so many vacuum cleaners.
LOL!! May I recommend the Rainbow vacuum. It is very expensive, but I have mine for almost 30 years and have only had to have it repaired once due to "user error". It vacuums all "dirt" into a water tank, so you're not breathing it. You dump the dirty waterI dump it through a sieve and immediately throw away the ball of dirt, hairs, lint, carpet fluff, paper clips, etc. so you're not storing it inside the vacuum bag in your closet, stinking and breeding more dust mites. While you use it, the air in the room gets humidified with water vapor (I use a capful of rose water in the tank) instead of getting sprayed with microparticles of dust. We got ours due to family members having severe allergies. It really did the trick.
Thanks. I will look into that one for when my current, fairly new vacuum meets its end.
Could the lab’s tail be more expressive of how he’s feeling? “uh-oh, big trouble!”
Do an image search for Czechoslovakian Wolf Dog. You’ll see a lot of similar critters.
