If you're fed up of fad diets and the clean-eating craze, there's only one place you should go: an all-you-can-eat buffet.
These restaurants allow you to enjoy multiple plates of all your favourite naughty dishes, from curry and Chinese to pizza and chips - and at a fraction of what it would cost at a normal eatery.

When I go eat at a buffet it is all protein and zero carbs.
I pull a chair in front of the dessert bar and reach in with both hands.
Well, just north of Denver we have this:
Italian buffet to die for.
NOMZ!
Agreed. Proteins are expensive and I like them. Watch out, move aside, here I come.
I don’t think it’s possible to eat “zero” carbs. Even meat has some.
But, it’s always good to do a lot of veggies.
We have a Furr’s cafeteria buffet near us and the food has gotten better of the past few years - veggies aren’t so overcooked and soggy.
My favorite BBQ joint has an all can eat, I head for the Ribs...Not the best ribs but very good indeed. For $10 it’s a steal.
And then there is the “wife with big purse” option.
You reeve now! You been here four hour.
Breakfast buffet I just eat a huge pile of bacon, sausage and eggs. Dinner buffet if they have crab legs that’s all I eat. Or just salad and meat. Lots of meat. :-)
If you watch the kids dip their fingers in the chocolate fountain, lick them and dip again you lose your appetite.
The strategy that keeps me from getting uncomfortably stuffed at all-you-can-eat buffets is to take as many plates as I want, with the proviso that each new plate can only have half as much food as the last one.
It’s the buffet version of Trump’s rule that two regulations have to be eliminated for each new one.
I went to a Golden Corral a few years ago while visiting West Virginia.
In hindsight I’d would paid any amount for someone to lock me up prior to entering.
Someone obviously thought this advice was essential to the well-being of the readers.
I don’t go to buffets for broccoli, brussel sprouts, kale, tofu or edamame.
I’ll pass all the way around.
I gave up competitive/challenge eating over a decade a go.
I have an almost 16 year old son. The amount of sushi he can put away at the all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant is obscene. He only wants to eat at buffets and all you can eat crab leg places. #thatsmyboy
There apparently are some very nice buffet restaurants in other parts of the country. There are very few here that I’d feel comfortable with. Plus, leaving all that food out on a steam table in a crowded restaurant even with sneeze guards just screams salmonella and e coli to me, especially with kids sticking their hands in it and people who have no clue about hygiene handling the utensils. If it was a nice clean place busy enough to keep the turnover up, moving it off the buffet regularly, and the patrons weren’t in any way suspect themselves, I’d love it if the food was good and the price was too. Can’t think of a one that fits that description, though.
I eat what tastes good to me...
Yes, I eat the fish, shrimp (peeled),salmon, crab legs, mussels, mudbugs, and some green beans (for my wife)............costs us $32 total for both.............
