I watched the opening session of the Washington State Senate, yesterday. They had an invocation to “Our Heavenly Father,” done by a minister, that must have lasted three minutes. It was the most beautiful prayer I have heard for a long time. Present in the Senate Chamber were children of the State Senators who heard that prayer. It was Children’s Day at the State Senate. What an example to these kids.
