There are Arimid fiber lined ducted fans for a reason. If you have never had a propeller lose a blade . . . think about riding an unbalanced flying lawn mower.

I work at a golf course.... mowing
fairways 8 months out of the year...along with rough cut mowers (big suckers) and cutting around elevated greens I wish I had an egres system just in case...*lol*

Your comment was my first thought.

Then: place the propellers slightly higher and wider apart for additional stability and add shock-absorbent feet at the corners and set them wider for easier landing.

Something akin to this, but with a larger pad on the bottom of each leg.
