A 4-year-old with autism is back with her parents after she was saved from almost drowning in a creek.
Officials say the little girl, Melody, had wandered away from home and accidentally fell into the creek.
The mother told KDAF she had left for work, and her husband did not realize the little girl had left the home.
"She went out on an adventure. She's likes to do that. She's got autism, and we just found out about it. She just likes to wander off and do her own thing sometimes," said Melody's mother.
Thanks to the help of two 12-year-old boys, Markuise and Cameron who found and rescued her, Melody was saved.
"They saw the girl playing on the other side of the creek. She tried to swing on a limb. She fell in the water and she looked like she was drowning. So one of the boys pulled her out of the water and the other one assisted," Roman Police Chief Stephen Carlisle said.
No charges will be filed against the parents at this time.
Well done Markuise and Cameron!
God bless you both!
Good job guys!
Good for the boy’s, but why exactly is the little girls autism relevant?
Well, I wonder how long it will take.
Not long I bet.
The nanny state requires parents to maintain eye contact with government property in their care at all times.
You will see a lost handicapped kid story every 3 to 4 days beginning last week.
This story is propaganda for HR 4919 bill for implanting autistic kids / “handicapped adults” with RFID.
Remember the dog that saved the autistic kid last week who was lost for 40 mins?
In one month they may send it to the senate. 60 voted no in the House, but it passed in DEC 2016. When this comes up to the Senate.... Call your Senator and tell him that humans should not be chipped. I can’t say any more about it... just trust me it is not for good.

It’s actually an amendment to the Department of Justice’s Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994. It is disguised as a medical program. I wish I could say more, I shouldn’t.
READ WHAT GOHMERT SAID IN DEC 2016...
While this initiative may have noble intentions, small and temporary programs in the name of safety and security often evolve into permanent and enlarged bureaucracies that infringe on the American peoples freedoms. That is exactly what we have here. A safety problem exists for people with Alzheimers, autism and other mental health issues, so the fix, we are told, is to have the Department of Justice, start a tracking program so we can use some device or method to track these individuals 24/7, Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said in a floor speech opposing the bill.
He didn’t say what the chips are really used for, and I won’t either, because for one you would not believe it, and two it supports something you are not supposed to know about.

Read my post.
Your antennas are up and operational. Good thinking.
What?
God bless these boys.
Thank you.
Thanks for posting this.
HR 4919 is coming soon to a Senate near you.
You will soon see the story’s relevance.
Some Autistic children have a tendency to take off. The clinical term is elopement, but they often sneak out of even an attentive parent’s control. I have a daughter with autism and when she was 5 she figured out how to scale the fence in the back yard. It was 6 feet tall. She also doesn’t have an adequate fear of hazards. It is all mitigated with alarms on doors, locked gates, etc. Some parents put trackers on their kids.
Okay I see, but four year olds and other young children that are not autistic also wander away from parents, and I don’t mean just inattentive parents, they have been doing it forever, I still don’t see what it added to the story, sympathy for the child?, for the parents? How much would it have affected the story to leave autism out? I think the message to parents would not have change, be aware because your child may go adventuring it’s what children do, humans of all ages are enthralled by curiosity.
Mastador:
In a few weeks, when the Senate debates this, this story and the other “compassionate” story will be used as exhibit A & B to pass the RFID bill. There will be more in the next few weeks. RFID’s are used in war. That is all I will say.
Just be sure to call your Senator when the time comes.
Thanks for that reminder.
