Kings got rid of the top center in the league at a yard sale price. In lived in Sacramento area for the few years they were actually good. They had a flowering as brief as a desert plant now back to suck.

I consider Marc Gasol the top center. Boogie is more physically gifted, but he’s a head case.

He’s about to get a net salary increase, with the cut in state and local taxes.

Big coup for New Orleans, they also want John Wall, to complete the UK Trio, with Anthony Davis.

Incredibly bad trade for the Kings - even if they wanted to get rid of Cousins and his attitude, they should have been able to get far more for the best center in the league.

Great trade for the Pelicans, whether Cousins decides to sign a long-term deal or not - if they can't get him signed this summer, they can trade him for far more than the Kings did. And if they can keep him long-term, he and Anthony Davis will form the best big-man combo since David Robinson and Tim Duncan, and New Orleans will become a destination for other free agents - Golden State could be looking at another powerful Western conference contender to deal with for years.

The 49ers' York family is no longer the worst ownership in Northern California. Vivek Ranadive got fleeced.

Not an NBA fan.

Saw the headline and literally thought ‘pelican, the bird?’

So there’s an NBA franchise in New Orleans called the Pelicans?

Never heard of them. LOL. I am evidently truly NOT an NBA fan.
