Incredibly bad trade for the Kings - even if they wanted to get rid of Cousins and his attitude, they should have been able to get far more for the best center in the league.

Great trade for the Pelicans, whether Cousins decides to sign a long-term deal or not - if they can't get him signed this summer, they can trade him for far more than the Kings did. And if they can keep him long-term, he and Anthony Davis will form the best big-man combo since David Robinson and Tim Duncan, and New Orleans will become a destination for other free agents - Golden State could be looking at another powerful Western conference contender to deal with for years.

The 49ers' York family is no longer the worst ownership in Northern California. Vivek Ranadive got fleeced.

Yes, this trade will impact the balance of power in the Western Conference. Cousins and Davis will be a force to contend with, assuming the Pelicans can re-sign Cousins to a long-term deal.

I can kind of understand why the Pelicans let Hield go in trade for Cousins. When I saw it the first few times, I thought Hield punched Cousins. When you see it in slow motion, you can see than when he runs around Cousins, he grabs him by the goodies. Might not be a good idea to have them on the same team. Definitely a flagrant 2.
