Melania Trump has a new look to go with her new role as First Lady! During an appearance at the White House, Melania debuted a slightly shorter haircut with new blonde highlights. Click ahead for all the details.
Melania Trump, 46, decided to switch up her signature hairstyle after husband Donald Trumps inauguration ceremony on Jan. 20. Melania, who has reportedly been staying at Trump Tower in NYC with her and Donalds ten-year-old son Barron Trump, showed off a fresh hairstyle at the White House on Feb. 15.
Dressed in head-to-toe white as she met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu, Melanias hair was several inches shorter and much blonder thanks some face-framing highlights.

With her hair falling just below her shoulders, Melanias new hair was back to her signature smooth blowout, parted down the middle and softly curled at the ends. While Melania wore her hair styled like this throughout Donalds presidential campaign, for the inauguration, she wore her hair in a side-swept updo and a loose, side-parted style.
As our sister site, WWD, previously reported, Mordechai Alvow has been behind all of Melanias hair looks for almost 10 years, so we have a feeling he had a part in this makeover as well. Previously, Mordechai shared that he would often style Melanias hair before she would travel so that Melania always looked camera-ready. Lots of times I would prepare her hair early morning and she would fly off on her own, so the shape and texture of the hair needed to last for all those hours, he said in the interview.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Melanias new look?
Melania has slowly gotten more at ease with smiling while in public. Americans tend to do smile as a reflex when getting their picture taken. Some forget and will even smile during a Mug Shot. An effort has to be made not to grin if you wish to look more serious or nonchallant.
Yes and eastern Europeans dont. When we were there in mid 1990s, we were told you could tell we were Americans a mile off because we walked down the street smiling at anything and nothing, just because it was a nice day or being friendly (we are from Texas after all). I’m sure to them, Americans looked almost goofy with all our smiles. A friend there told us it became ingrained in them during the Soviet era, you did NOT want to be noticed, and even smiling in public could bring unwanted attention from KGB that you were up to something and could be stopped and questioned. You wanted to keep you head low and go about your business and not call any attention to yourself.Plus life was just really hard there and most had kind of a distrust of good fortune being possible. I’m sure it was like that when she was a child growing up.
Making America Beautiful Again
Is that my imagination or are those servicemen standing a bit straighter and saluting a bit smarter in that picture?
She is so beautiful and poised! Women everywhere are going to be lifted by her example.

Is that the Canadian Prime Minister?
Our new First Lady is indeed beautiful,
Quite a contrast there with the last one.:)
Oh crap...
This thread was just the comedy relief I needed...and I started not to read it...
Mrs Trump looks quite nice as first lady, probably a little better than Bill would...
You must admit Bill’s lipstick shade choice doesn’t
flatter him.
What a contrast.....
I hate to say it, but it wouldn’t surprise me if she could.
That looks like one very competent woman.
And she’d look great in a potato sack instead of looking like a potato sack.
Life just is not fair sometimes.
I don't like criticizing people for things they have no control over.
A person's build is something they can't help.
What they DO with it, however, is completely in their control.
And that includes dressing, hair style, and accessories.
Toned arms? I don’t think so.
I still feel bad that the Royal Wig Maker and the Royal Eyebrow Plucker were let go when the Obama’s left.
The clip I saw, he must have fixated on Melania for 3 minutes. Even after the Hildebeast elbowed him, he turned back to Mrs. Trump. He was probably thinking, why do I have to wake up next to the beast.
I know! Genetics.
But, you and I aren’t doing too bad for ourselves, all things considered! ;)
First Lady Bill picture.....funniest thing i’ve seen this year!!
As a consolation prize, I have also noticed that it seems that many times those who are the most beautiful when younger do not age as well as the rest of us more average people.
And I mean that physically. Whatever features they have that make them so beautiful at a younger age, often don’t work so well on older bodies. The more average people actually end up looking better at the same age than the more beautiful ones.
And then there’s the *but it’s what is inside that counts* consolation prize to fall back on, too.
Well, when I was a teen, I could eat anything I wanted and remained stuck at 103 pounds.
Those days are LONG gone.
