Anything from Microsoft has virus functions built in.
Wipe whatever you get and go Linux.
Linux systems have their own software problems.
I bought a Linux laptop about 6 months ago. I finally got some Youtube videos to play, but websites that required me to log in with my cable company ID just will not work. FoxSportsGo, ESPN-Go, the cable company’s TV stream, etc. It seems that the problem is with DRM [Digital Rights Management]. The loading icon just spins, but never loads the video.
Sometimes the browser will error out and say I need to install the latest Flash. The computer info says I already have the latest Flash. I have tried this with numerous browsers: SeaMonkey, Firefox, Firefox ESR, Cromium, Chrome, Konqueror, Opera.
Thus, I have to revert to the Windows 7 laptop or desktop or to the android tablet for such video streaming. That negates the purpose of going all Linux.
