Planned Parenthood supporters in Brooklyn, New York lined up outside a tattoo parlor Wednesday to show their support for the abortion chain with permanent ink.
According to the Huffington Post, several tattoo artists in Brooklyn donated their time and offered discount tattoos to raise money for Planned Parenthood. The event, Tattoo To Protect Your Parts, included suggested tattoos showing women protesting, coat hangers and the slogan My body, my choice.
The report said hundreds lined up outside the Magic Cobra Tattoo Society in Greepoint, which hosted the pro-abortion fundraiser, but only 80 were able to get tattoos in the time allotted. A similar event is planned in Los Angeles.
We didnt want to sit around and watch all our rights erode, organizer Laura Matthei told the news outlet. We wanted to do something instead of sitting and whining and crying about it, which sometimes of course I do. Even though we are in a liberal state, there are local and state representatives voting against reproductive rights. We need to put on the pressure right now.
Brooklyn resident Eman Rimawi said she got a tattoo Wednesday because its nobodys business what Im doing with my body but my own.
Its an odd way for abortion advocates to show their support, given that in some states it is legal for a minor to get an abortion without her parents knowledge or permission but not a tattoo. Planned Parenthood opposes legislation to require parental involvement in a minors abortion.
Planned Parenthood performs about 320,000 abortions a year and receives about half a billion taxpayer dollars annually from the government.
Last month, a congressional investigation into the abortion business involving its sales of aborted baby parts concluded. The lawmakers recommended that Congress defund the abortion company as a result of the problematic actions they uncovered.

State and federal lawmakers, elected by the American people, are moving to defund the abortion giant and redirect tax dollars to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care without doing abortions. This would ensure women and families have access to quality health care, while stopping tax dollars from funding abortion groups.
U.S. Senators introduced a federal bill to defund the abortion business last week.
Recent polls also indicate Americans support the defunding efforts. New polling found 56 percent of Americans in battleground states want Planned Parenthood defunded.
Planned Parenthood recently was exposed for not providing prenatal care, despite its claims otherwise, and only providing ultrasounds in preparation for abortions. It also has been caught in numerous scandals involving possible Medicaid fraud and failures to report suspected sex trafficking and sexual abuse of minors.
Women also reported being lied to and pressured to have abortions at Planned Parenthood. Other reports are even more disturbing. In 2014, a Planned Parenthood affiliate in Illinois paid $2 million to the family of a young women who died from a botched abortion in one of its abortion clinics. Other reports indicate other women also have been injured or died along with their unborn babies from alleged botched abortions at Planned Parenthoods.
B!tches please! I know some people who have that! It reads "Semper Fi" and they EARNED THAT!!
You and I were talking tattoos tonight? see my post 1...
Sounds like tats that would make a lib happy and at some poit really damned stupid.
I didn’t read the article but when I read the headline I thought of those gang bangers who get tears tattooed under their eye for each person they killed.
One of my female co-workers at the unemployment office, a social worker, hung a paper-covered coat hanger in her cubicle with “This is not a medical device” written on it. I went to management to complain that that was a political statement and not very professional. They made her take it down immediately.
The sick get sicker.
The evil get eviler.
Found it!
Actually I wish you had not done that. There are women stupid enough to try that and can hurt themselves. No abortion has ever been achieved by a coat hanger that is a myth but there are always that woman who is desperate and stupid enough to try it.
When someone comes up with a safe, workable formula for a “Do it yourself Tattoo Removal Kit”, they’ll make millions.
Many of these folks just don’t want to admit that they made a mistake in getting a very large or very strange tattoo.
They don’t want their friends to know that boring topics like Job Interviews or New Girlfriends have brought about changes.
Eeek not seen those before! Just recently some chick in tennessee tried it and failed. The baby lived but has damages. PP defended her because there was no clinics nearby. She could have hurt herself bad, never mind the baby. She was freaking stupid. Can’t believe these women.
Anymore I see tattoos on women of all ages! Teens to women much older than me. Went to a doctors office recently and every chick in there had ink. Like I told one FReeper here tonight the only ink job I respect is “Semper Fi” all others are....well....what all of you said.
My opinion on a woman it looks trashy.
The sign of The Beast.
Anti-Biblical on two counts.
Why don’t they get ABORTED, instead of a tattoo to show their real conviction in the act?
These women are actually getting permanent marks to indicate their support for the murder of the unborn?
Do they really want to permantently identify themselves as sinners with the mark of the Beast?
Is the tattoo on their right hands or foreheads?
My thought exactly. The woman is inviting only the worst kind of men (plural) into her bed. Never mind her heart—she’s announcing she doesn’t have one.
Indeed. Satan prowls.
Tattoos? Wow, I’m impressed....NOT REALLY (sorry, I don’t have a tattoo or pierced ears).
