I never understand what’s with naming winter storms now. They are naming them as if they are hurricanes

they started doing this when their predictions that there would more and bigger hurricanes after Katrina never happened. So they started naming winter storms. Then they can rush out with their annual statements about how we had more named storms this year than ever before in history, implying that the weather is worse when they are just naming more storms. The stupid are fooled, they get their grants.
