The first trailer for Netflixs Dear White People, an expanded retelling of the celebrated 2014 film of the same name, has arrived. The trailer shows a diverse group of students at the fictional, largely white Winchester University fill and often rail against the roles theyre put in, paving the way to both comedy and conflict in their post-racial world.

We have internet and Netflix. No cable.
Great for watching classic series like Cheers, The Office, Star Trek, etc...
But their original content almost universally sucks, as reflected by the subscriber ratings.
Highlights of Netflix? Breaking Bad, John Wayne flicks, and the occasional other random gems.
Dear Pinko People,
Take a long walk on a short pier.
Today, preferably.
Sincerely,
Ben
BS like this will cause me, a long time Netflix subscriber, to cancel. There is nothing on Netflix that I can’t find somewhere else.
White-shaming, the only socially acceptable form of racism.
Amazon has VIKINGS and The Man in the High Castle.
I hardly use my Netflix anymore.
Not interested in paying to be preached to by SJWs. I had Netflix a long time ago. I found one movie that I really enjoyed on it. I let them go.
(The movie was ‘The Objective’, if you’re curious. Special Forces team led by a Company guy checking out an ‘energy source’ detected by satellite in Afghanistan, set in the modern day. Fun flick)
Read “The Fist of God” by Frederick Forsythe.

Amazon also restricts your viewing to standard definition for PC viewing. I have a 42” PC monitor (wife gave it to me 3 years ago). “The Man in the High Castle” was really good, but I could only watch at 480i. The TV in the living room would work fine, if it wasn’t preoccupied with children’s shows.
I only watch on Amazon if something isn’t available elsewhere.
“celebrated”? Never even heard of it ...
Can we expect a “Dear Black People” sequel anytime soon?
"If a movie* contains a Wayans brother, it's near-guaranteed to Suck. Multiple Wayans brothers, make the movie torturous in ways that deSade and Lovecraft never imagined."
*"The Last Boy Scout" is the single exception to the rule, while by no means a classic, it's better than a rootcanal.

We’re sorry to say goodbye ...
Just started watching Sneaky Pete. Seen it yet? Seems pretty good. Great acting.
But the kids go to bed sometime, right? Enjoying some of Amazon’s shows. Despite hating the founder.
No idea what the TV series would be like, but the movie has an unexpected twist that surprised people near the end.
The Man in the High Castle is great. Can’t wait for Season 3.

I do have one and kicked them to the curb today. I sent them a tweet and an email telling them why. I noticed a bunch of people cancelling on Twitter which is great news. My family won’t miss it. We still have cable, DVR abilities, Hulu and Amazon Prime. We also have the Amazon Stick which allows for Kodi so you can just imagine the amount of entertainment we have at our fingertips. So losing Netflix does nothing for my family. I was most happy to cancel today. Easy decision.
