I agree. There is nothing wrong with sending an e-mail which is polite and letting him know why he is wrong.
It sort of reminds me of some neighbors here.
Contractor knocks down areas, wants to build houses and has no permit , and not even a licensed contractor. Starts at 6 in the morning and got others working there till 9 at night.
All against the law, and yet hardly anyone would speak up.
Two weeks ago family moves in and they have a kid who rides his motorcycle, not a Harley type. Doing up to 80 miles an hour, doing wheelies up and down the street till one in the morning. He and his friends.
No one wanted to say anything, because again most remain behind their curtains hiding wanting others to do something for them while they complain about the noise or what ever is going on.
When I ask have you done anything, said anything, had a word with the kid etc they all shut up.
Course I had a word with the kid and said it firmly and fairly to him and he has not done it once since then, and now the neighbors all thank me. As for the contractor he was a known felon who had just got out for armed robbery, and I again was the only one who said something.
he was stopped and found to have a gun in the truck and went back to prison.
This is the same. Send a frigging email and then you have a right to moan about this decision otherwise shut up. The left can get organized why can we not?
You are SO very right and accurate in your example. I have a limited ability physically but it does not keep me from phone, email and the occasional trip to the state capital or other office. Conservative relatives and friends with much more ability to get around just want to visit me and complain. Politeness gets me heard with my representatives but the politeness more often runs out with my moaning relatives.
