New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft told FOX News on Sunday that he is hopeful his friend, new president Donald Trump, can assist him in getting back a Super Bowl ring that wound up on the hands of Russian president Vladimir Putin.
“I do have an emotional attachment to that ring,” Kraft said Sunday of the $25,000 piece of jewelry the owner allowed to Putin to try on after he admired it during a 2005 meeting.

It really happened. That is going to be Putin’s chance to get along with President Trump. This could get interesting.

In an interview w/ Chris Wallace, Mr. Karft said he had another ring made for himself...and suggested that President Trump might trade that replacement ring for the original. Mr. Kraft said he also ordered a extra ring for this Superbowl.
Then he waxed about his friendship with Trump and hoped DJT might be willing to work out a swap.
I expect the radical left wing press to go nuts over this.

Why was Kraft in Russia, and what was the purpose of the “meeting” he had with Putin?
And what was the name of the person who called him from the Bush White House in 2005?
Maybe the story is true, but I’m thinking Kraft asked for, and may have received, something in return, either from Putin or from Bush.

Just a guess, but it seems that this more than grand theft, more than practical joke. It feels like it was his way of playing “dare, double dare.’ It was his way of dissing an American big shot and a symbol of something that is uniquely American, an institution that not only Mr. Kraft, but Americans in general hold dear. It’s time for him to say something nice about Mr. Kraft and the Patriots and to return the ring to its owner, Mr. Kraft. He shouldn’t wait for Donald Trump to make it happen. He should do it himself, voluntarily, even though mighty late.
I do that when I dont know about a military concept or term or political person or term, or science term, but not for cartoons/comics :)
Who knows what Putin’s motivation was/is.
It is customary for gifts to be exchanged as tokens of appreciation, to heads of state.
