Is anybody planning to Freep the White House Correspondents Dinner? Lots of journos promising to boycott because of Trump. I have a friend in D.C. who would like to meet up with you.
You mean like a White House Dinner for Veterans of all Wars and Conflicts with an Emphasis on the Wounded Warriors?
That would be great, I am sure we could RSBN and possibly Fox Business ( Let Lou Dobbs be the MC ) to cover it if CSPAN will not.
Oh yeah, me too. I can sit on my porch and watch the show - as long as it’s the high flying one (on clear days) - they used to buzz our apt complex, but have not done so for a couple years - must have had a complaint from somebody .. DARN .. I love seeing them so up close (seemingly) at the tree tops .. AWESOME !!!!!!

I remember being there in 2001. We cheered Ralph Nader as he was crossing the very wide road (Wisconsin Ave?) towards us and the hotel. He smiled until he saw our signs, some of which thanked him for taking some of Algores votes. It was fun.
When I lived in kali, used to go all the time. The Saturday before the show went and ate at that restaurant next to Montgomery field. Got to see them practice, then the next day watched it live.
They are AWESOME. Barbara Streistand once complained about the noise over military aircraft flying over her house. She caused a stink. What did the head of the base do? He had them fly over her place hours earlier in the morning.
I have said for years that this silly clown fest is below the office. It is undignified and should end. We have too many serious things to take care of. Mocking the president doesn't help. Trump, please skip this nonsense.

If I recall, he attended the last one and was roundly insulted.
He would be foolish to attend this one.
Maybe he could have another wounded warrior fund-raiser, like he did to Megyn "I'm too sexy for my implants" Kelly. I'd much rather go to something like that. He could have his sons run it, have it at the Trump International, donate all proceeds, and invite Rolling Thunder and Patriot Guard Riders to "park" on all the sidewalks around the building in exchange for a great meal.
Since the WHCA has started turning the Correspondents' Dinner into Hollywood East, using the "stars" as human shields, it has become much harder to freep the actual presstitutes. We used to be able to get into the hotel bar during the event, but the last couple of years, all available sit-down places inside have been reserved exclusively for the stars and their fanboyz in the media.

Oh my goodness .. the Mexican Restaurant at Montgomery Field is one of my very favorites. My Nephew usually manages to get as many family members as possible .. and we head for Montgomery Field.
With a new President, I’m hoping this year’s program will be even better.
He should blow it off. These people are the enemy.
