The federal judge’s ruling states that the EO is unconstitutional and contrary to the rule of law. Words fail. The power to control immigration is clearly granted to the Congress and the executive branch. The U.S. Code clearly gives the president authority to exclude “any class” of immigrants at his own discretion. Moreover, the EO doesn’t mention religion anywhere, so that argument would be nugatory.
There has to be some consequence for this judge’s flauting the law and making shit up.
Notice this nut job of a judge issued this order on a Friday afternoon. Makes it harder to have the order stayed immediately.
The left is hell bent on flooding this country with Democrat voters from abroad.
And since this judge is in Washington State, I presume the appeal has to first go to the 9th circus.
Sorry the EO has already been declared lawful by the DOJ. And you are right that the US Code gives the President, not Judges, authority over immigration. His ruling is moot. It is to be ignored by the Executive Branch.
wait so one judge can overrule the President which other Presidents have done.
You have go tot be kidding me.
