Better yet:
1. Get a land line
2. Turn off ringer. Give number out to only businesses and turn ringer on when you are expecting a call from such businesses.
3. Use only caller ID, no voicemail. Let them waste their money calling you.
4. Use your cell number.
5. If they have your cell too, like they do mine, put your phone on DND where only your contacts ring. You will have to deal with your texts not dinging though. :-(
6. I also have my cell voice mail disabled.
I did all this around September after being spammed to death since July with 2-3 calls repeated in the same few minutes and threatening voicemails demanding money. Figure I will open myself back up once the heathens doing this are stopped.
