McCain is a dipstick but his call was to the Australian Ambassador to the US, I think. Pretty sure that calling the PM in a situation such as this is way above his paygrade.

That’s a concise description. Someone needs to write a book about where McCain started losing it. Was he buddies with Kerry way back?
He and Kerry, in the early eighties, treated the families of POW’s and MIA’s in Viet Nam with total disdain and disrespect and contempt. Why? They wanted to normalize relations with Viet Nam because their wives wanted to open the markets for their business....Kerry for Heinz and McCains wife had an interest in something....the poor family members and loved ones brought me to tears with how badly they were treated. This was during a hearing about the subject. I wish I could find it if it was recorded anywhere. I watched it on C-Span. I’ve hated both of them for so long.....these people wanted answers about their loved ones as a condition for opening up business with VN....McCain and Kerry called them selfish. :(

Ted the Fat Drunken Blovating Oaf wasn’t expelled or censured for talking to the KGB. So the likelihood of McCain being censured or expelled for talking out of turn to an ally is?
Though I do admit that McCain is so thoroughly disliked by his colleagues (The exception being Linda!) that it’s a little more possible then for the average senator.
