Former Fox star Megyn Kelly’s move to NBC continues to make waves – this time for one of the peacock network’s most familiar faces. Ten-year veteran of the “Today” show Tamron Hall has announced her departure when her contract expires at the end of this month. Her exit follows last week’s announcement that Kelly would be taking over Hall’s third-hour slot that she has co-hosted with Al Roker.
In a statement Wednesday, Hall said, “The last ten years have been beyond anything I could have imagined, and I’m grateful. I’m also very excited about the next chapter. To all my great colleagues, I will miss you and I will be rooting for you.”
According to the Daily Mail, a source knowledgeable about the negotiations said, “NBC News very much wanted Tamron to stay, she was offered a multi-million dollar/multi-year contract and she chose to go.”

Ironically, Hall also came over to NBC from Fox, although it was a local Fox affiliate, not Fox News.
At what point did the talking heads gain ‘Star’ entertainer status?
I’d like to see a news show without talking heads, just voice overs of videos, pictures and info-graphics.

She’s gonna burn through network jobs pretty fast at this pace. I never wish any person ill will or bad luck, but Megyn has so much bad karma around her that I don’t think her broadcast career will ever be a happy one.

I guess NBC doesn’t believe in affirmative action hires. They went and hired someone based on their perceived ability and not skin color. This lefty nightmare and meltdown just keeps getting better and better. Can’t wait to see how NBC backtracks on this one.

Hmmm..I wonder how much of her earnings rich Tamron gave to the federal Govt..cause ya know, when you spread the wealth around its good for everyone
