Tom Herman is well into his marriage as the Longhorns coach and the glow from his hiring has faded. That’s not to say that the excitement won’t return – after all, he has yet to coach a down for UT – but there are indications the love affair needs some rekindling.

At least Alabama doesn’t need some bogus hand-picked committee to put Ohio State in the playoffs every year.
Good point. Even Nick Saban’s first class at Alabama was not that good of a class. Of course everything changed for the better in his second year at Bama. The same thing might happen at Texas.
