A Jones County family experienced a nightmare come true when a rattlesnake slithered up inside their toilet last week.
Big Country Snake Removal says the family contacted them after finding the adult snake in their toilet.
When officials arrived on scene, the company investigated the property and found 24 rattlesnakes total in the familys storm cellar and under the house. Five were babies and the rest were adults.

I know this late...but, I have used snake-a-way and it seems to work.
I raise chickens and that means chicken snakes in the nesting boxes getting the eggs. I killed four of them last year in a month and finally bought some of that stuff at Tractor Supply.
Didn’t see another chicken snake the rest of the summer.
Although I guess the case could be made that I decimated the chicken snake population!
Thanks.
Luckily, it's no where near the farm house. 😳
Snakes gotta have somewhere to den.
As Ian Anderson put it, “He, who made kittens, put snakes in the grass...”
God made them for a good reason.
:)
I am one of the more crude FReepers, I admit.
The headline that raced across my brain when reading this story was “Snake Head meets Turtle Head”.
ROTFLMAO .... Naaaah us Texans just tell it like it is. We talk crude its oil. Rest of our conversations are simple reality. Funny but true.
I like to think I talk like a sailor (thanks dad!) But still hold doors open for ladies (thanks mom!)
Get a King snake. Get several King snakes..
Yah, but you have Somalis, so...
Better bring your crack pipe
....yes I know you don’t have one
We had an old pump house at lake bruin Louisiana at our old camp house for skiing and deer hunting
I stepped right by a Coral Snake on night ...within a half foot
I’m Deep South I know the diff
I have many poisonous snake tales from growing up in serious snake country
And has friends but mostly by cottonmouths
Later as an adult as a partner in the Pedro Segundo opal mine in Piaui Brazil

We had floods so bad in the village and surrounding areas with coral snakes everywhere on high ground and little kids were getting bit at night going to pee etc
Everyone slept in hammocks
We spent a lot of money to fly in emergency snake dope from Miami and Houston because São Paulo and Rio were out...
It was pitiful
19 kids in a village of maybe 5-7,000
Most under 10
I live on 10 aces middle Tennessee
We have rattlers on the hill slopes that rise up 2-500 foot around us....rocky
But I’ve only had one copperhead in my woodpile....no jokes please..lol
Other than that just usual garters and racers
Maine has gone from having no gang members a few years ago to having 4,000 of them. Mainahs have gone from thinking of gang members as something they saw on COPS to something they see when they look out the window.
Vacationland now hosts the True Somali Bloods and the True Sudanese Bloods who spill each others blood to find out who has the truest blood of them all. In Lewiston, Somali flash mobs attack natives. In Bangor, a Somali gang is at the heart of local crime.
Somalis are slowly turning Maine into Somalia.
So much for that experiment. This is what happens when you start feeding wild bear and raccoons.
At least there are still the lobstahs.
Have you all thought of feeding Somalis to the lobstahs? Just a thought.
What a brilliant idea ...or sending them West on a one-way bus ticket :)
I couldn’t handle that. Far too many snakes. Poor kids.
Apparently our gov’t here in California is dedicated to repping everyone except old stock Americans, so this is where you need to bus your excitable Somalis. They can duke it out with the rest of the 3rd world to see who will rule the soon to secede California People’s Republic. Be sure they bring along their machetes as we are in the process of outlawing all firearms.
