It appears the snake made it through up until the fat place where its last meal is still being digested.Ball pythons are normally very thick-bodies in the middle, whether digesting or not. How could she not notice that?
They make great pets if you're into snakes -- docile, non-aggressive, slow moving, and cheap to fit. (At least ours is, since he usually stops eating altogether between November and March).
