...And Uriah Heep, as well as some later work with Ken Hensley long after Hensley left Heep, and "UK" (around 1979-80, I believe) as well...

I never knew that...thanks. I came to appreciate Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music in the late 70s. I was stationed in Germany at the time, and a friend of mine let me know of a televised concert on German TV. He recorded it, and the concert featured 3 bands: Roxy Music, Dire Straits, and Talking Heads. The cassette is in my garage somewhere, along with 8 boxes of cassettes that I mixed on my own.

I'd also listen to Radio Luxembourg during the afternoons, really kept me abreast of the Euro music market.
