I hope he didn’t die in “The Heat of the Moment”.
Sorry.
Lark’s Tongue in Aspic, King Crimson, one of the greatest albums of the era; he does vocals.
Back in the late sixties and early seventies rock and roll became ‘ rock’. Lots of great stuff back then. But with volume comes mediocrity, too. I considered the groups that this guy played with amongst those.
Just my $0.02.
It is strange that, Wetton and Greg Lake sang in the same bands when the other was working on a different project with the other's group. They both sounded alike and were often confused for one another. Both died in the last month or so.
Heard this on the radio last night. The “classic rock” station then played Mott The Hoople’s “All the Young Dudes.” Wonderful old tune!
RIP.
Seems like everyone who ever played with Carl Palmer has been dropping like flies.
Wow. I knew Squire and Lake had died the day after each passed. My favorite of the three bassists Steve Howe has played with, Wetton, passes and I didn’t know it for 6 weeks!
King Crimson, Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music, UK, Asia, and his solo stuff... I dug all of it.
Sad news out of England.
Whatever became of poster “dp0622”?
