Did we get a name yet?
I wish I had seen “Grand Prix” at the Cinerama Dome. I saw it at a regular theater.
I was incorrect - my mom loved the book and took the two of us to see it when it opened at Graumans Chinese. I had smoked a ton of hash before we went and the movie completely FREAKED me out. I remember having to keep reminding myself that it was just a movie
I didn’t know this but the literal quote was “Kenneth, what is the frequency?”
I know how important acccuyracy is around here -
I'm trying to remember which theater I saw it in. I know it wasn't Grauma's, but it was definitely on Hollywood Blvd. I'm almost sure it was one of the theaters on the south side of the street. Maybe the Egyptian.
Me and my best buddy went to see it, and I enjoyed it so much, I took my mom and little sis to see it the very next night at the same place.
Needless to say, the movie completely freaked them out. My little sis wouldn't even go to the bathroom alone for a month!
Regardless, it was pretty funny.
Except for the fact that Rather didn't learn from the experience.
I thought it was funny that even the police doubted Rather’s version -
