I know what you mean. Facebook has ended every friendship with any liberal friend I once had and several of my nieces and nephews are strangers to me now. They’re brains full of leftist mush. It’s sad.

I’m using FB to approach some very liberal friends I haven’t seen for years. They never grew up. I’m hoping to lead by example so they do. As a friend it is my obligation to reach out.

and delivered a system where one did not have a work identity,
a family identity. just one.
And when there’s a sizeable percentage who deny to others
the right to have any difference from them, the utility
degrades rapidly.
Segmented identity works well. One can give and receive
advice on e.g. medical issues or software problems
when it’s understood that other issues are “off topic”
