Nearly all experts prefer the 9mm. But when posed the question, "if you are in a room, and a bunch of guys burst in that want to cut your head off, what do you want a 9mm of a .45?".....A: the .45. Enough said on the subject.
I also love the 1911.

For me, its a tough call between a 1911 or the Sig 226.
