A BABY dolphin has died after it was kept out of the water so a mob of tourists could take selfies with it. The tourists dragged the tiny mammal out of the water on Sunday in the seaside city of San Bernardo, south of Buenos Aires, Argentine newspaper La Capital reported. The suffering calf died surrounded by a crowd of people trying to touch it and take selfies with it.

Years ago, when we lived on a farm with lots of horses and
cattle; a man & his wife from Fang’s work came out. The
woman got on one of our horses and rode him REALLY hard;
showing out I guess. Next morning, the horse was dead and
we heard later that the woman was in the hospital having to
undergo a hysterectomy. I never saw the couple again &
Fang is long since out of that job. I was sorry the woman
evidently hurt herself; but I was even more sorry that our
horse had died. (I had no idea how old the horse was, but
I’d guess it was fairly old at the time.) I got pretty wore
out of company every weekend when we lived out there. I
finally told Fang that for once I would like to BE company
instead of HAVE company for a change.
The baby dolphin kept telling them that they were killing him .... ACK ACK, ACK ACK ACK!
Don’t know, but my approach to a dog, at their owner’s permission, is to get to their level, speak softly and extend the back of my hand for them to smell. That’s before I reach out to pet them.
I’ve have two small dogs, a poodle-dachshund and a poodle who-knows-what. Both smart, loveable dogs.
The worst is people who walk up to a pregnant woman in the store or in church and put their hand on her bump. Ew! Disgusting and invasive.
No, it was a mammal.
“The worst is people who walk up to a pregnant woman in the store or in church and put their hand on her bump.”
You’re kidding. That’s assault.
It may have been reconfigured that way recently, since the rise of the snowflakes, but you'd be surprised what "nice" church people think they can do.
