It all depends what the dates are and also where they are from. But yes, by and large, these very old newspapers are light years better than today's are!

For example, when I was 10, the N.Y. Times was supposedly written at the 12th grade level; the level at that time, which was very much higher than it is now!

I still save papers, but just the N.Y Post.
