The “Eco-feminism” label is the latest guise or variant for what was known as “liberation theology” -— nurtured in South America in the 1970s or so and exposed as Communist inspired (Guttierez, Boff). When the Soviet Union and its failed socialism collapsed in 1989, the liberation theologians shifted to the ecology and radical feminism fads.

It seems to trip their tiny processors.
You should. With a bit if tightening up, your post explains succinctly what your objection to their modus operandi is. What you can do other than ceasing to contribute, I can’t tell you.
Unless you’re the biggest donor they have, you might as well bang your head against a concrete wall.
An idea is publish a college indoctrination index based on samples of political self-identification of first year students vs. 4th year. About 40% of Americans self-identify as conservative, 20% libtard. Some government schools are graduating 90% libtards. That level of indoctrination is a massive abuse of taxpayer dollars.
Just don’t send them any money and tell them why :)
If you don’t, who will?
Go for it with everything you can.
It is also an abuse of the student's parents, who must often sacrifice their secure retirement years for additional years of working grind, which at their more advanced age, they might not survive. It is an induced servitude, perhaps even a type of slavery inflicted upon them by bullying liberal professor overlords intent on indoctrinating their offspring with useless social justice warrior ideology. This ideological indoctrination will prove useless and provide no benefit to their children, during their children's working years.
Excessive hyperbole, on my part?
:)
Exactly. But I may need a support group, i.e. the kind FR folks on this thread. :)
I have banged my head on the wall before. I don’t like to do that, but I may once again.
This is a conservative state, and I do know I can win here. I don’t like to be the heavy, though.
Barf. Just checked my small conservative salt of the earth alma mater and see they now have a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. The description for the program is, “immigration and LGBTQ rights.” WHHHHYYYYYYYY???? How times have changed. How embarrassing.....
No, I have less than zero pull to change the flavor of yogurt in the cafeteria.
Do like we’ve done, stop donating. If enough stop supporting the crap it will stop. Eventually.
Took a gander at the pics of the newly hired profs. 80% look all of 16 years old and the remainder appear to be dudes from India. ‘Nuff said. Off to burn a diploma.
Morally you should try, recognizing you will get “academic” arguments denying their is any bias.
I would suggest you make the argument that many politically charged courses should be eliminated as courses, and, should the course topic be germane to a broader course category, it should be presented only as invited lectures within a course, where the course also offers opposing views.
This argument is to say many courses such do not provide any balance where true critical thinking and opposing judgements are part of the academic experience. That makes such course pure indoctrination attempts, not a morally or philosophically balanced “education”.
However, my state legislator has the power of appropriating state funds which are funneled into the University's coffers. He or she did not get elected by being an unreasonable ideological bully, and did not get elected by intimidating his constituents. He lives in the real world, no academia.
Times have just changed again, and now they are the dinosaur.
Just tell them you are not donating and will be contacting as many alum as possible with this and encouraging them not to donate as well.
Money is the only thing they respond to.
If reason will not work, (which it won’t), I will tell them I will tell them I will lobby the state legislature every year to cut their appropriations $500k until they level the playing field.
