I consulted at a company where the manager was a fan of Ruth's Chris. We went there fairly often - I didn't care, wasn't me picking up the check.

It's a steak. Potatoes and some sort of vegetable. Tasty, but unremarkable. Is it worth three or four times the price of the local Longhorn/Texas roadhouse, or 10x the price of me buying a good NY strip and grilling it myself?

I know Ruth bought Chris’s steakhouse. But how did “Chris’s” steakhouse become “Chris” steakhouse?
