Basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has penned an editorial highly critical of President-elect Trump.

Abdul-Jabbar argues that “a quick look at two of the black faces that Trump parades on television as proof of the diversity of his entourage is actually evidence of his using black shills to distract us from his paternalistic policies to dismantle civil liberties for people of color, women, the LGBT community, Muslims and immigrants.” He singles out Ben Carson, Trump’s Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), writing that “it's like picking Elmer Fudd to run NASA.” …

He’s a piece of garbage this mofo, I should know, I’ve dealt with him. I use to drive a cab in New York city years ago and picked him up one day and he deliberately flooded the back seat floor with about a gallon of water because I didn’t kiss his ring, meaning I didn’t acknowledge him, but I never did when it came to celebrities #1 because I don’t care and #2. I respected their privacy. He got in on a hot day with a big jug of water in the back seat and his assistant sitting in the front because he was so big, and he kept staring at me in the rear view mirror waiting I assume to acknowledge his holiness and when I dropped him off, this other woman got in and said “Your cab is flooded” and she got out, I couldn’t believe it. I had to use a coffee cup to scoop it up then get a ton of napkins from a pizza place to dry it out.

My HS played his HS (Power Memorial). It was a parochial school league. My religion /home room teacher insisted we go to a certain number of games or fail. I went to one game against Power Memorial with he the big star. We beat them. Haven’t gone to another BBall game nor watched one on TV, since. Not interested. Can’t stand the sport.
I prefer personal outdoor sports like hunting and fishing and various shooting sports. But can watch baseball and football.
